Virtual Address Agreement

This Virtual Address Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the Detroit virtual business address and mail handling services ("Address Services") provided by D.S Cottingham Enterprises.

1. Use of Address

You may use the assigned Detroit address as a commercial business address for your registered LLC, banking, mail, and marketing. The address may not be used for residential purposes or any unlawful activity.

2. USPS Form 1583 & Identity Verification

Federal law requires us to verify the identity of every recipient who receives mail at a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA). You agree to:

• Complete and sign USPS Form 1583.
• Provide two forms of valid identification, at least one of which is a government-issued photo ID.
• Complete USPS or third-party identity verification as requested.

Mail Services cannot begin until identity verification is complete.

3. Mail Handling

• We will receive, log, and notify you of incoming mail.
• Standard handling includes open-and-scan, forward, hold, or shred — based on your preferences.
• Forwarding postage and special handling are billed separately.
• Packages over standard weight or size may incur additional storage fees.

4. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Address Services for: illegal activity, adult entertainment fulfillment, firearms or controlled substances, cannabis-related shipments where prohibited, or any activity that places the facility at legal risk. Violation results in immediate termination.

5. Fees & Billing

Address Services are billed monthly starting at $99/month and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Termination & Mail Disposal

On termination, you must update your business records to remove our address. Mail received more than 30 days after termination may be returned to sender or destroyed.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for lost, delayed, or damaged mail beyond the monthly fee paid for the affected month.

8. Acknowledgement

By checking the Virtual Address Agreement box at intake, you confirm you have read and agree to these terms and understand USPS identity verification may be required.
